Oz Unity 1.0 Debut Linux Distro Review

Oz Unity is a great looking Linux Distro based on Ubuntu 10.04 and affiliated with the creators of Ultimate Edition. Its a Unity style interface designed more for Laptops and Netbooks. Runs a lot quicker and is far less buggy than the official Ubuntu Unity. Website: www.ultimateeditionoz.com There was a need for an operating system which was as easy as could be — both from an installation point of view and an ease of use point of view. Something with all the hard work done such as Codecs, Flash and Java. An operating system with a look and feel pleasant to a majority of new users — not just the enlightened geeks amongst us. An operating system which can easily grow and be tailored to your personal wants and requirements.

In Depth Look at My Favorite Linux Distro. PARDUS LINUX.

Current Stable: www.pardus.org.tr

I have been playing around with this Linux distro called Zorin OS which is really easy to work with for people who have only used Windows. This is how my desktop looks right now. Amazing visual effects thanks to compiz and OpenGL. It comes with a LOT of preinstalled apps that cover all the basic stuff most users need on a daily basis. I really recommend those who are interested in giving Linux a try, to download the Live CD and boot your desktop or Laptop with it.
