SmartQ V7 Running Gnash(FLASH) in midori

SmartQ V7 Running Gnash(FLASH) in midori. Tthe flash advertisements are shown, even youtube.com, video.google.com, flash online games and I don’t know what else, is running – BUT it is choppy, slow, video suffer slide or no rendering, the CPU is at 100% because if you are watching website with many flash advertisements, there will be each gnash process running for each flash content. The Flash-player from Adobe for ARM devices (ver 10.1) will be released in October 2010, and I was not able to run the beta version in midori. So I decided to try GNASH (Gnash is not an abbreviation or an acronym. It uses the ‘Gn’ from GNU and the ‘ash’ from Flash, and describes what our teeth are doing when we can’t play flash files on our favourite platforms without installing proprietary software.).

This week I will do unboxing and mini review of the UMID mBook BZ. This is really great little device, designed for productivity and great mobility. But the price is bigger. It costs 550$. So a recommend to look at this :)

@1KeNnY1KeNnY1 Then what are you planning on buying now? I want to buy the Smartq V5 but if you have a better suggestion I’ll go and look at it.
